The Electronic Prescription Service is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription. Instead of collecting your repeat prescriptions from your GP, you will not have to pick up your paper prescription. Instead, your GP will send it electronically to the pharmacy you choose. You can choose a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop. You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as they may be ready before you arrive. Electricity customers will have got a £12 rebate off their energy bill as a result of Government moves to lower the cost to consumers of green levies. This should have happened automatically, however people on pre-payment meters should have had a letter or a voucher for £12 issued in November 2014.
